12:14. Glasses of doors

Prevention

For repeated installation of a suspension bracket of an armrest it is necessary to use new rivets.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lower glass and remove a door upholstery.
2. Having noted an arrangement, drill heads of rivets of fastening of a suspension bracket of an armrest to a door.
3. Remove a protective film from an internal part of a door.
Glass of a forward door
4. Remove internal consolidation of glass from a door.
5. Remove the top consolidation of glass from a door.
6. Using the screw-driver as the lever release a bracket of fastening and take from it a glass window regulator guide.
7. Having inclined glass, extract it a back part from a door up.
Glass of a back door
8. Remove internal lower consolidation of glass of a back door.
9. Remove the lower external consolidation of glass.
10. Remove the top consolidation of glass.
11. Unscrew the top screw of fastening of a guide of back glass.
12. Unscrew the lower screw of fastening of a guide of back glass.
13. Remove a guide of a back part of glass from a window of a back door.
14. Press a bracket of fastening and release a window regulator guide.
15. Extract glass from a back door up.
Window regulator
16. Release a bracket of fastening of a guide of a window regulator (on a forward door for release of a bracket it is necessary to use the screw-driver) and exempt a window regulator guide from glass.
17. Put forward glass up to an emphasis and record it in this situation an adhesive tape.
18. On cars with power windows disconnect the electric socket from the window regulator engine.
19. On all models unscrew 5 nuts (are specified by shooters a photo at the left) fastenings of a window regulator and take it from a door through the lower opening at doors (a photo on the right).
Back motionless glass of a back door
20. Remove the lower internal consolidation of the lowered glass of a back door. Remove external lower consolidation of the lowered glass of a back door. Remove the top consolidation of glass of a back door.
21. Unscrew 2 screws of fastening and remove a guide of a back part of the lowered glass of a back door.
22. Remove back motionless glass with consolidation from a door.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal, taking into account the next moments:
      – all consolidations have to be correctly located in a door frame;
      – at installation of glass check that it correctly was established in a guide a window regulator;
      – check operability of a window regulator before installation of an upholstery of a door.
