7.6. Coupling switching off mechanism

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the transmission.
2. On models with the hummock mechanism of switching off of coupling disconnect the release bearing from a fork of switching off of coupling and remove the bearing (it is specified by an arrow) from a main shaft.
3. Take a cylindrical pin and remove the lever of switching off of coupling from the top part of a shaft of switching off of coupling. At installation it is necessary to use a new cylindrical pin.
4. On both types of coupling wring out a lock ring and remove the top plug from a clutch release fork lever shaft.
5. Take a shaft from the lower plug and get it from a coupling case.
6. Wring out a lock ring and remove the lower plug from a coupling case.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the mechanism of the drive of switching off of coupling and if necessary replace worn-out details.
2. Check the release bearing which has to rotate easily, evenly and silently.
3. The working surface of the bearing influencing a press spring has to be smooth, without cracks, local corrosion or development. If there are these defects, the release bearing needs to be replaced. On the leading knots of coupling of the second type it is necessary to replace all knot.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Grease all points of turn of a shaft and the surface of contact of a clutch release fork lever with lubricant on the basis of a molybdenum disulfide.
2. Install the lower plug of a case of coupling. Insert a shaft of switching off of coupling and the top plug and fix them by lock rings.
3. Install the lever of switching off of coupling on a shaft, combine openings on a shaft and the lever and insert a new cylindrical pin. Install the release bearing on a main shaft of the transmission and connect to a coupling switching off fork.
4. Install the transmission.
