8.2.6. Removal and installation of the multipurpose switch

Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For improvement of access to the switch remove the case of the air filter and inlet channels.
2. Install the selector lever in situation "N".
3. Note position of the lever of the selector concerning the switch.
4. By means of the lever remove a cable from the selector lever on the multipurpose switch.
5. Track an electrical wiring from the switch to the socket and switch-off the socket.
6. Remove a switch electrical wiring from a support bracket on the transmission.
7. Unscrew a nut of fastening of the lever and remove the selector lever from a switch shaft.
8. Unscrew the switch and remove it from a transmission case.

Installation

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
