5.2.10. Installation of the moment of injection
Installation of the moment of injection needs to be made after position of the fuel pump changed.
The equipment of dynamic installation of the moment of injection based on transformation of an impulse of pressure in the nozzle pipeline in an electric signal is available only at the Peugeot station.
Static installation of the moment of injection yields good results if it is executed carefully. When carrying out this adjustment on the fuel pump Bosch it is necessary to have the indicator of hour type with the corresponding adapters. When performing this work on the pump Lucas it is necessary to use the special tool.
