5.2.7. Electromagnetic valve of a stop of the engine
Prevention
The electromagnetic valve of a stop of the engine is located at an end face of the fuel pump of high pressure.
Its task consists in stopping supply of fuel at switching off of ignition. In case there is a rupture of an electric chain in the valve or the feeding wires, it will be impossible to start the engine as fuel will not arrive to nozzles. The same will occur if the plunger of the electromagnetic valve jams in the engine stop mode (the valve is closed). If the plunger of the electromagnetic valve jams in open situation, the engine cannot be stopped at switching off of ignition.
If the winding of the electromagnetic valve and the engine failed it is impossible to start, it is possible to make the following temporary repair, having removed the valve and having established it back without plunger and a spring. The engine can be started in the usual mode now, and to switch off, using the lever of a manual stop of the engine on the fuel pump of high pressure.
