10:19. Cable of the emergency brake
The cable of the emergency brake consists of 3 parts: a forward part which turns on the adjustment mechanism, the right and left back parts which connect back brakes to the adjustment mechanism on a forward cable.
Each part can be removed separately.
Removal
FORWARD PART OF THE EMERGENCY BRAKE
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Lift a back part of the car and record on supports. |
2. Remove the thermal screen and weaken the regulator as much as possible to weaken a cable of the emergency brake. |
3. Remove the central console. |
4. Completely release the emergency brake and disconnect a cable of the emergency brake from the lever. Exempt a cable cover from brackets of fastening and communications. |
5. From below the car disconnect the right back cable from the forward regulator of a cable. Unscrew the regulator and disconnect the left back cable of the emergency brake. |
6. Exempt a forward cable from brackets of fastening and communications and take it from under the car. |

BACK PART OF THE CABLE OF THE EMERGENCY BRAKE (MODEL WITH DRUM BRAKES)
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Lift a back part of the car and record on supports. |
2. Remove the thermal screen and weaken the regulator as much as possible to weaken a cable of the emergency brake. |
3. Remove the corresponding back brake drum. |
4. Disconnect a cable of the emergency brake from the lever of a brake shoe and take a cable cover from a brake board. |
5. Exempt on all length a cable from fastening brackets. Disconnect the right back cable from the mechanism of the regulator and unscrew the left back cable. Remove them from under the car. |

BACK PART OF THE CABLE OF THE EMERGENCY BRAKE (MODEL WITH DISK BRAKES)
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Lift a back part of the car and record on supports. |
2. Remove the thermal screen and weaken the regulator as much as possible to weaken a cable of the emergency brake. |
3. Remove brake shoes of the emergency brake. Disconnect the mechanism of the drive of the emergency brake since the end of a cable of the emergency brake. |

4. Take a cable cover from a brake board. |

5. Exempt a cable from fastening brackets. |
|
6. Disconnect the right back cable from the regulator mechanism. |
|
7. Unscrew the left back cable. Take cables from under the car. |

Installation
Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
