10:21. The valve of adjustment of pressure in the brake system

On the majority of models the valve of adjustment of pressure in the brake system is located in a hydraulic actuator on each back brake. The valve is installed in the lower back part of the car and attached to the stabilizer of cross stability of a back suspension bracket by a spring.

The valve is operated by the movement of the stabilizer and regulates hydraulic pressure on back brakes for an exception of jamming of wheels at sharp braking.

On some models with back drum brakes valves are combined with working brake cylinders.

Check

For working capacity check valves of adjustment of pressure in the brake system it is necessary to use the special equipment. Therefore these works need to be performed only at the station.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a back part of the car and record on supports.
2. Wipe area around connections (are specified by shooters) pipelines on the valve. Put installation tags on the valve and pipelines.
3. Unscrew connecting nuts and disconnect brake pipes from the valve.
4. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the valve (1), disconnect a spring (2) drives of the valve from a suspension bracket and take the valve from under the car.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Completely clear the valve of adjustment of pressure in the brake system and grease a carving of bolts of fastening of the valve with means against unscrewing (Loctite Frenetanch).
2. Install the valve into place and connect a spring of control of the valve. Screw up bolts of fastening of the valve the required moment.
3. Connect brake tubes to the valve and screw them connecting nuts.
4. Remove air from the brake system.
