13:22. Anticreeping system and immobilizer of the engine

Prevention

This information belongs only to the anticreeping system installed Peugeot as the standard equipment.

The anticreeping system joins and switched off by the tiny transmitter. After inclusion of system the indicator located on the central console constantly shines. In addition to anticreeping system there is an immobilizer preventing start of the engine of the car. The immobilizer is disconnected by the key block installed in dashboards from the driver. The control lamp of an immobilizer is located in the central part of the dashboard.

Anticreeping system of the alarm system
Prevention

If doors of the car are closed and open a key, then the anticreeping system will not give an alarm signal. If during giving of an alarm signal the transmitter does not switch off system, it can be disconnected by means of a key. For this purpose open a door a key and enter the car. At the same time the alarm signal will sound as the door is open. Include ignition and press the small alarm button located on the central console. These operations need to be performed within 10 seconds after opening of a door.

The anticreeping system has switches on a cowl, a back door and side doors, and also motion sensors in the car. For shutdown of anticreeping system include ignition and press the button on the central console for 2 seconds then for 3 seconds the control lamp of anticreeping system will light up that will indicate its shutdown. For repeated inclusion of anticreeping system include it by means of the transmitter of remote control.

Immobilizer
Prevention

Do not forget an immobilizer code. If it is impossible to enter the correct code, the electronic control control unit the engine it is necessary to replace.

The immobilizer prevents start of the engine if the special code is not entered into the control panel an immobilizer located in the lower part of the dashboard from the driver. The code of an immobilizer can be changed at will. If at inclusion of ignition the control panel of an immobilizer is lit with green light, the engine can be started without a set of a code of an immobilizer. If the control panel of an immobilizer is lit with red light, the engine will not be started and the alarm signal at its start will begin to sound.

Accumulator detachment

Before an accumulator detachment the anticreeping system has to be switched off completely. After connection of the accumulator it is necessary to make active anticreeping system the transmitter of remote control.
