| 1. Check an asterisk of the oil pump for wear. If the asterisk is worn-out, it is necessary to replace the oil pump since the asterisk separately is not delivered. In this case it is also recommended to replace a chain and the leading asterisk. |

2. Unscrew bolts of fastening of an oil receiver to the pump. |

| 3. Remove an oil receiver and take the safety valve and a spring. |
| 4. Check a condition of rotors of the pump for wear signs. At wear of rotors the pump is subject to replacement. |
| 5. Check the piston of the safety valve for signs of wear and if necessary replace. The condition of a spring can be estimated only comparing to a new spring. The safety piston and a spring are delivered as spare parts. |
| 6. Clear the mesh filter of an oil receiver the corresponding solvent. |
| 7. Establish a spring of the safety valve and the piston in an oil receiver. Install an oil receiver on the pump and fix by bolts. |
