3.1.6. Casing of a gear belt
Removal
MODELS OF ENGINES WITH A CAPACITY OF 1.6 LITRES

| Top casing |
| 1. Remove hoses of supply of fuel from clips of the top casing. |
| 2. Unscrew two bolts of fastening located in the casing basis and take a casing from a motor compartment. |
| Central casing |
| 3. Unscrew two bolts of fastening of the central casing located in the lower part of a casing, move a casing up to exempt it from two adjusting pins located in the casing basis, and remove it from a motor compartment. |
| Lower casing |
| 4. Remove a crankshaft pulley. |
| 5. Remove the central casing. |
6. Unscrew two bolts of fastening of the lower casing and remove it.
Prevention
On some models perhaps it will be required to unscrew a bolt of fastening of knot of the mechanism of a tension of a driving belt and to remove it from the engine that it was possible to remove a casing of a gear belt.

| Top casing |
| 1. Unscrew the top and lower bolts of fastening of the top external casing to internal. Take the top casing up. |
| Lower casing |
| 2. Remove a crankshaft pulley. |
3. Remove the top external casing. Unscrew three bolts of fastening of the lower casing of a gear belt from the engine.
Prevention
On some models perhaps it will be required to unscrew a bolt of fastening of knot of the mechanism of a tension of a driving belt and to remove it from the engine that it was possible to remove a casing of a gear belt.

| 4. Take off a gear belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism. |
| 5. Remove pulleys from both cam-shafts. |
| 6. Unscrew six bolts of fastening of an internal casing to a head of the block of cylinders and remove an internal casing from the engine. |

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
